Darlings,

It has been an unusual couple of years, and while there have been plenty of challenges, we are grateful for some incredible highlights. From our “Lockdown Content” campaign in early 2020, to our livestreams from Soundfarm Studios and Tohuwabohu Festival, and finally the release of DANCE, we were reminded again and again that we can count on the support of the most amazing fans in the world.

The future continues to hold much uncertainty, and so we have decided to focus on what we do best: writing new music. The process of creating a new album for you is just beginning and will remain our priority in 2022, although we are also working on a few select but really cool live surprises. We will keep you updated on all of this regularly, in our newsletter and on what they call social media.

Meanwhile, we know we have been quiet for some time and so we wanted to share an update on we’ve been up to beyond Cellar Darling:

As you may know, Anna doesn’t “just” write and perform, but also produce and record, and so she has been focusing on her work as a studio producer and engineer. Which doesn't mean that no songs are being written — new music is in the making, for Cellar Darling as well as a new and exciting collaborative project which we will tell you about soon...

Ivo has been stuck at home for the last few weeks because, unfortunately, he broke his foot (don’t ask…). Luckily, he doesn’t need his foot to work on new music! In fact, not only is he conjuring up new Cellar Darling riffs, but he has recently started recordings for a new and very intriguing side project. Stay tuned for more infos soon!

Finally, Merlin has been stumbling around his adopted home in the U.K. and expanding his activities as an artist manager. So, while he continues to experiment with his noise wizardry at home, he’s also been working in a non-drumming capacity with several amazing young bands from both England and Switzerland, all of which will be offering new music in the coming year.

Follow each of us on our own channels if you’d like to stay up to date on our individual projects, although we’ll be sharing some highlights here as well.

One of our all-time best sellers, “The Girl”, is now available in three new print colours: blue, white, and gold.
We have put on a pretty massive sale in our very own online store — not because of black or otherwise-coloured Fridays, but to make room for new things to come.
